Job summary

Okta in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a Senior Technical Account Manager to lead strategic technical advisory for key accounts in CIAM and API security. You will architect auth workflows, supervise integrations, and mentor engineering teams across Auth0 and Okta environments.

You will build scalable identity solutions, perform hands-on prototyping and demos, and influence product direction through customer feedback and success metrics. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related professional experience (or 4+ years with a Master’s) including 3+ years in TAM/solutions roles.
• Domain knowledge in customer identity (CIAM), API security and modern app development.
• BA/BS/MS in CS/SE/IT or related discipline; industry certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted technical advisor to key accounts across CIAM and API security.
• Lead hands‑on prototyping, demos, and PoCs to validate architecture with customers.
• Influence customer strategy and collaborate with product/engineering teams to address needs.
