Swanson Industries, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager in Helper, UT to develop, maintain, and assess strategic accounts and build favorable relationships with key clients.

The role emphasizes recommending and selling hydraulic equipment and repair services, reviewing bid specs, coordinating orders, and ensuring on-time delivery while seeking improvements in reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
• Minimum four (4) years of outside sales experience; mining and/or machining experience preferred.
• Performs work under minimal supervision.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with customers.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Recommends and sells equipment and repair services utilizing knowledge of hydraulic equipment operations and customer needs.
• Reviews and submits bid specifications and quotations to customer for review and approval.
• Submits orders for product and follows up to verify material list accuracy and delivery schedules.
• Analyzes application and use of hydraulic components and suggests improvements.
• Reviews customer specifications for accuracy and potential selling advantages.
• Demonstrates and explains use of installed equipment and production processes.
• Arranges for installation and test-operation of machinery/products and proposes solutions to problems.
• Contacts current and potential customers to evaluate needs and promote sale of products and services.
• Contributes to professional growth through educational programs and literature.
