Swanson Industries, Inc. seeks a Technical Account Manager to develop, maintain, and assess strategic accounts in the Bessemer, AL area. You will provide technical support, build favorable client relationships, and drive equipment and service sales.

Location is on-site in Bessemer, AL, with responsibilities including reviewing bids, coordinating orders, and ensuring timely deliveries. Strong communication and ERP proficiency are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required; a Bachelor's degree in Business or related field is preferred.
• Extensive background in outside sales, preferably with underground longwall mine experience or related maintenance experience.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Proficient computer skills, including Excel, Word, drawing reading skills and ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Recommends and sells equipment and repair services based on hydraulic equipment knowledge and customer needs.
• Reviews and submits bid specifications and quotations to customers for review and approval.
• Processes orders and tracks delivery schedules to meet project deadlines and customer requirements.
• Analyzes hydraulic component applications and suggests improvements for reliability and efficiency.
• Evaluates customer specs for accuracy and opportunities to improve pricing or service.
