Job summary

ColonialWebb is seeking an Account Manager with a mechanical engineering background or hands-on skilled trades experience. The role emphasizes understanding HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, strong MS Office and CRM skills, and a commitment to ongoing learning.

You will engage with facility managers and building engineers to grow and manage commercial accounts. We offer a competitive base salary with commissions, a car allowance, gas card, EZ pass and an attractive first-year OTE, plus

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering degree or 2+ years mechanical experience (HVAC, plumbing, or electrical).
• Experience working with facility managers, property managers, building engineers and operations directors.
• Skillful listener, with excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Pipeline management experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office, CRM systems, and Internet use.
• Client management skills; able to manage customer relationships, perceptions and expectations.

Responsibilities

• Self generate a pipeline, prospect new commercial accounts and build territory while maintaining contract account base.
• Support sales and operations for Service Project and Service Agreement opportunities.
• Perform estimating activities for commercial mechanical service projects (i.e., equipment replacements, retrofits, installations).
• Develop trusting relationships with customers and grow those relationships.
• Identify customer objectives and how our services may fit their needs.
• Analyze and make recommendations on modifying and repositioning agreements on renewal processes.
