The role requires a seasoned professional with 10+ years in building automation controls sales and 7+ years in sales management, with travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 10+ years in building automation controls sales.
• 7+ years in sales management.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact with the largest and/or most strategic prospects and develop relationships to meet customer needs.
• Manage business development activities for strategic prospects to support the business strategy defined by senior leadership.
• Pursue major bid opportunities, present final bid responses, lead negotiations with large/complex customers and build relationships to win projects.
• Lead relationship for potential large/strategic prospects to discuss needs and how products/services meet them to create new client base and increase sales.
• Lead team to prepare/write estimates and proposals and gain internal approvals to sell and bid.
• Present new business proposals for major/strategic prospects, negotiate value and address resistance to develop business.
• Direct and advise the management team representative on prospective target accounts.
• Constantly review and develop personal pipeline and customer log; hunting for opportunities and establishing long-term relationships.
