Carrier Global Corporation seeks an HVAC Controls Sales Leader for North America to drive high-value building automation solutions, lead a sales team, and secure major accounts leveraging deep product and market knowledge.

The role requires strong direct selling, negotiation, and customer relationship skills across large enterprises, with significant travel and cross-functional collaboration with product and delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years of building automation controls sales experience.
• 7+ years of sales management experience.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the primary contact with the largest and/or most strategic prospects, develops a professional relationship to understand and meet customer needs within contract scope.
• Manages business development activities for strategic prospects to support the business strategy defined by senior leadership.
• Pursues major bid opportunities, presents final bid responses, and leads negotiations with large/complex customers to win projects.
• Leads relationships for potential large/strategic prospects to discuss needs and demonstrate how products/services meet them.
• Leads team to prepare/write estimates and proposals and obtain internal approvals to sell and bid.
• Presents new business proposals for major/strategic prospects, negotiates value, and addresses resistance to develop business.
• Directs and advises the management team representative on prospective target accounts.
• Maintains personal pipeline and customer relationships, hunting for opportunities.
