Job summary

Sentara Health seeks an HR Technology Architect to translate HR business needs into scalable Workday solutions across the employee lifecycle. You will partner with HR, IT, and enterprise stakeholders to design, integrate, and govern architecture standards.

The role emphasizes techno-functional leadership, end-to-end HR processes (Talent Acquisition, Core HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time and Absence), and a strong Workday background to optimize system landscapes and data flows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in IT, CS, HR, business administration or related field.
• Workday certifications or relevant architecture certifications preferred.
• Demonstrated experience architecting and delivering HR technology solutions across end-to-end HR business processes.
• Strong Workday experience with understanding of Workday capabilities, integrations, data security and downstream systems.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR, HR Technology, IT and enterprise stakeholders to evaluate business processes and architect scalable solutions.
• Drive solution design, integrations, and architecture standards across the HR tech ecosystem.
• Translate HR business challenges into scalable technical solutions beyond initial requests.
• Guide implementation teams to ensure end-to-end HR processes (talent, core HCM, payroll, benefits, etc.) are coherent.
