Job summary

Paychex is seeking a Mid-Market HR Services Consultant to partner with MidMarket Sales Representatives and drive attachment, adoption, and revenue for Paychex HR Services. This role blends consultative selling, HR subject matter expertise, and deal leadership to influence buying decisions.

You will position HR Services as essential to client challenges, support pricing and packaging, coach sales teams, and own HR Services performance in your territory while staying current on labor laws and HR

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree.
• 4 years of HR Services Sales experience.
• 4 years of HCM Sales experience.
• 4 years of B2B consultative sales experience.
• Experience supporting or co-selling with field sales teams.
• Mid-Market client experience.
• Proven track record in selling HR solutions.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Mid Market Sales Representatives as a dedicated HR Services sales rep.
• Participate in all stages of the sales cycle from discovery to closing.
• Position HR Services as essential to client business challenges.
• Support pricing, packaging, and scoping within broader HCM deals.
• Influence sales outcomes with HR insights and consultative guidance.
• Coach sales reps on HR value proposition and objections.
• Deliver informal training, deal reviews, and best practices.
• Share market feedback with sales leadership and partners.
• Own HR Services performance within assigned territory.
• Manage HR Services pipeline and attach metrics.
• Partner with Sales Managers to identify opportunities.
• Stay current on labor law changes and HR trends.
• Apply HR knowledge to differentiate Paychex HR Services.
• Assist and facilitate HR educational seminars at local events.
