Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience managing complex employee relations matters.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred, or ability to obtain within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular meetings with assigned business units to assess and support organizational needs.
• Partner with management to provide HR guidance and recommendations.
• Analyze trends, metrics, and workforce data to develop HR solutions, programs, and policies.
• Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues through thorough, objective investigations.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance and minimize organizational risk.
• Partner with legal counsel and internal stakeholders on employment-related matters as needed.
• Provide day-to-day performance management support, including coaching, counseling, career development, and corrective actions.
• Work closely with employees and management to enhance employee engagement, productivity,retention, and workplace morale.
• Interpret and communicate HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Support hiring activities, promotions, transfers, and employee transitions.
• Provide guidance regarding organizational restructuring, workforce planning, and succession planning initiatives.
• Identify training and development opportunities for employees and leaders.
• Participate in the evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure effectiveness and achievement of learning objectives.
• Maintain and update HR tracking tools and documentation, including discipline records, performance improvement plans, corrective actions, and workforce transition records.
• Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends and support informed business decisions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
