Ashley Furniture Industries in California seeks an experienced HR Manager to lead HR services for the supported business units. You will dive into employee and labor relations, performance management, policy implementation, coaching, and onboarding with a team of HR coordinators and generalists.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HR experience including employee relations
• Knowledge of state and federal employment laws and OSHA basics
• Experience in investigations, compliance and operations is a must

Responsibilities

• Employee Relations: handle investigations, documentation, coaching and engagement
• Management/Leadership: coach a small team of HR Coordinators and HR Generalists
• Recruitment & Onboarding: support talent acquisition and new hire integration, create job requisitions
• HR Compliance: ensure adherence to employment laws and update employee handbook
• Benefits Administration: manage benefits programs including open enrollment
• Performance Management: oversee reviews and development programs
• Policy Implementation: administer HR policies and SOPs
• HR Projects: create strategic HR initiatives
