Ashley Furniture Industries in Brentwood, TN seeks an experienced HR Manager to handle the HR needs of supported business units and implement best practices to drive corporate objectives. You will dive into employee and labor relations, performance management, policy implementation, coaching, mentoring, and onboarding, with our HR managers regularly engaging with employees and business partners.

Responsibilities include employee relations, recruitment and onboarding support, benefits

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Human Resources with employee relations experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Admin or related field, or equivalent.
• PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.
• Knowledge of state and federal employment laws and OSHA basics.
• Experience in employee relations, investigations, compliance and operations.

Responsibilities

• Handle employee relations investigations, coaching and engagement.
• Lead a small team of HR Coordinators and HR Generalists.
• Support recruitment and onboarding; create job requisitions.
• Ensure HR compliance and update the employee handbook.
• Administer benefits programs including open enrollment.
• Oversee performance management and development programs.
• Implement HR policies and SOPs/JSA documentation.
• Lead strategic HR initiatives and projects.
