Job summary

MYR Group Inc. is seeking an HR Business Partner to align HR strategies with business goals across US entities. You will advise leadership, manage employee relations, and drive programs promoting engagement and performance.

The role emphasizes change management, policy implementation, and collaboration with management to ensure compliant, data-driven HR practices. A strong partner to operations is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of human resources experience; preferably in the construction or utilities industry
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
• HR Certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage employee relations issues, mediate conflicts, and support managers in resolving employee concerns
• Advise on disciplinary and performance issues while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards
• Lead the implementation of HR programs, policies, and initiatives that promote employee engagement, retention, and productivity
• Analyze employee surveys, feedback, and other data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for improving workplace culture
• Act as a liaison between designated business units and the corporate HR Department
• Provide guidance to managers regarding labor and employment laws, industry regulations, and internal policies
• Maintain awareness of trends and best practices in HR management to mitigate potential legal and operational risks
• Support in-house talent acquisition with internal promotions
• Coach and guide managers and employees on the performance management process
• Assist with the rollout of training and development initiatives
