Planet Group in Phoenix, AZ seeks an HR Business Partner to serve as a strategic advisor to leaders, guiding workforce planning, onboarding, and employee relations. You will balance people needs with business goals, ensuring clarity and accountability while preserving the company culture.

The role emphasizes proactive partnering, fair policy application, and support across sites. Hybrid onsite work with 4 days in the field and 1 day remote is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in HR, business, psychology, or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive HR experience in construction/field environments preferred.
• Ability to influence leaders with empathy and accountability.
• Strong business acumen and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to jobsites as needed.
• Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to align people strategies with business needs and growth.
• Coach leaders through performance, team dynamics, feedback, and accountability.
• Support workforce planning, onboarding, and change management initiatives.
• Advise on fair, consistent application of company policies and practices.
• Handle employee relations matters, investigations, and risk mitigation.
• Build strong relationships across sites and offices to surface people issues.
