Qualifications

• ASA designation is required.
• 4+ years of health care industry experience (carrier or consulting).
• Experience leading projects and managing teams.
• Experience mentoring staff and coaching team members.

Responsibilities

• Perform strategy and actuarial consulting including benefit strategy, goal setting, benchmarking, plan design, pricing strategy, budgeting and bid/selection projects.
• Provide actuarial client leadership focusing on client outcomes, delegating responsibilities and mentoring team members.
• Demonstrate leadership in anticipating client needs and developing alternatives.
• Explain actuarial methodologies and results to clients and discuss potential alternatives.
• Participate in strategic discussions with clients and lead actuarial teams to deliver results.
