Job summary

Aon is seeking a Health Solutions Actuarial Consultant in Boston, MA. You will lead actuarial consulting across benefit strategy, pricing, budgeting, and client leadership for health care clients, working with senior professionals to deliver results.

Ideal candidates hold ASA designation (or close), with 4+ years of health care industry experience, strong project management and mentoring skills, and a Bachelor's degree. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• ASA designation or close is preferred.
• 4+ years of health care industry experience (carrier or consulting).
• Project management experience is required.
• People management/mentoring experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform actuarial consulting on benefit strategy, goal setting, benchmarking, plan design, pricing strategy, budgeting.
• Provide client leadership, delegate responsibilities, coach and mentor team members.
• Lead actuarial work on client teams and coordinate with other team members.
• Explain methodology and results to clients and discuss alternatives.
• Contribute to practice improvement and national model development.
