Job summary

Aon is seeking a Health Solutions Actuarial Senior Consultant to lead client strategy, design pricing, budgeting, and bid projects. You will guide large client teams and mentor colleagues to deliver high-impact actuarial solutions.

Ideal candidates hold FSA/ASA, 6+ years in health care, project and people management experience, and a Bachelor’s degree. The salary range and incentive details apply to US locations including Boston, DC, NYC, and NJ.

Qualifications

• FSA/ASA designation required.
• 6+ years health care industry experience.
• Project management experience.
• People management/mentoring experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform strategy and actuarial consulting (benefit strategy, budgeting, design, pricing).
• Provide client leadership focusing on outcomes and client business understanding.
• Exhibit leadership in anticipating client/project needs and solutions.
• Explain actuarial methods and results to clients and discuss alternatives.
• Participate in strategic client discussions and lead teams.
• Lead actuarial work on client teams with coaching and sign-off on results.
• Contribute to practice improvements (national model development, initiatives).
