Job summary

Aon is seeking a Health Solutions Actuarial Consultant to join our health actuarial practice in the U.S. This role leads strategy and consulting engagements for clients, designs plans, pricing strategies, budgets and bid projects, and mentors junior team members.

You will drive client relationships and deliver innovative actuarial solutions. Required ASA designation and 4+ years in health care actuarial work, with project management and people leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Must have ASA designation.
• 4+ years health care industry experience (carrier or consulting).
• Project management experience.
• People management/mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform strategy and actuarial consulting including benefit strategy, goal setting, benchmarking, plan design, pricing strategy, budget setting, bid/selection projects.
• Provide actuarial client leadership on targeted clients focusing on business objectives; coach and mentor team members, build relationships with clients.
• Exhibit leadership in business judgment, anticipate client/project needs, and develop alternative solutions.
• Explain actuarial methodology and results to clients and discuss potential alternatives.
• Participate in strategic discussions with clients and lead actuarial client teams with coaching and sign-off on results.
