Job summary

Aon is seeking a Health Solutions Actuarial Consultant to perform strategy and actuarial consulting across benefit design, pricing, budgeting, and bid/selection projects. You will lead client teams, mentor staff, and drive outcomes for health care clients across multiple locations including Boston, New York, Washington, DC and Baltimore.

The role requires ASA designation (or close), 4+ years in health care, and strong project/people management skills.

Qualifications

• ASA designation or close preferred.
• 4+ years of health care industry experience (carrier or consulting).
• Project management experience.
• People management/mentoring experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide actuarial leadership on targeted clients/prospects focusing on broader business objectives.
• Lead actuarial work on client teams and coordinate with other team members.
• Explain actuarial methodology and results to clients and discuss alternatives.
• Mentor and coach team members and deliver timely feedback.
• Lead large jumbo client projects and ensure quality sign-off on results.
