Job summary

Aon is seeking an experienced Actuarial Consultant to join our health care practice in the United States. This role focuses on strategy, pricing, budgeting, and client leadership across large projects.

You will guide teams, communicate complex actuarial results, and contribute to practice improvement through model development. ASA/FSA designation and 6+ years of healthcare experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of health care industry experience (carrier or consulting).
• Project management experience.
• People management/mentoring experience.
• ASA/FSA designation.

Responsibilities

• Lead actuarial strategy and consulting including Benefit strategy, Goal setting, Benchmarking, Plan design, Pricing strategy, Budget setting.
• Provide actuarial client leadership on targeted clients/prospects focusing on broader business objectives.
• Explain actuarial methodology and results to clients and discuss potential alternatives.
• Lead actuarial work on client teams and provide coaching to team members.
• Contribute to practice improvement through model development and national initiatives.
