Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new customer opportunities within the assigned sales territory.

You will educate prospects on Ryder services using the Ryder Sales Process, develop sales plans, analyze profitability, and manage account transitions to maximize opportunities. Responsibilities include creating pre-sales strategies, building a robust pipeline, collaborating with ARs, CDMs and National Sales, and ensuring smooth onboarding of new customers while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in business/finance/accounting.
• 5+ years of demonstrated sales excellence with quota achievement.
• Understanding of Ryder's product offerings and ability to present full service spectrum.
• Ability to interpret financial data.

Responsibilities

• Develop pre-sales strategy and sales pipeline to meet/exceed quotas.
• Identify prospect needs and develop value-based proposals.
• Report sales activity and ensure compliance with sales protocols.
