Job summary

Synergy Management Group is seeking a Managing Partner to lead sales, business development, and client engagement across strategy, finance, and M&A. Client work is primarily remote, supporting institutional investors and portfolio companies.

You will build a pipeline, develop proposals, recruit and mentor the BD team, and establish scalable processes. Compensation combines success-based retainers and hourly engagement supervision, with senior-experience required.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales and business development within consulting.
• Strong client engagement and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to develop and negotiate client engagements.
• Proven track record in recruitment and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead generation with the BD team to secure new clients.
• Develop proposals, support engagement negotiations, and close new client engagements.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and manage the Business Development team.
• Develop firm infrastructure, processes and templates to support engagements and consultant management.
