Job summary

Naviga Recruiting & Executive Search is seeking a Principal of Business Development (Remote) to accelerate growth for a scaling advisory firm. You will leverage C-suite relationships to open doors and convert executive access into long-term revenue.

The role requires 12+ years in complex sales or professional services with a proven $13M+ revenue track record and strong network across finance, operations, technology, and PE connections. Hybrid work and regional travel are expected.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of consultative professional services or complex B2B sales experience.
• Demonstrated track record of building and generating $13M+ in revenue.
• Ability to operate credibly at the C-suite level with access to CFOs or senior executives.
• Portable network or market-access mechanism through relationships or partnerships.
• Highly self-motivated hunter who creates new opportunities and revenue.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and close high-value advisory engagements with C-suite decision-makers.
• Activate and expand networks, PE/portfolio relationships, and tech/channel partnerships to create opportunities.
• Lead complex consultative sales cycles end-to-end from discovery to close.
• Partner with MDs, practice leaders, and experts to tailor solutions while owning the sales process.
• Build and manage a disciplined pipeline, forecast revenue, and identify new opportunities across markets.
