Job summary

Valcourt Group in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Business Development Manager to build a portfolio of target customers, educate them about services, and pursue growth opportunities. You will interact with owners, managers, and engineers via campaigns and events to differentiate the company in the market.

This role requires motivation to develop new business, coordinate with estimating for proposals, and travel for training and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 3-5 years of experience in construction or waterproofing field.
• Proven skills in account development, opportunity qualification and planning.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop strategic relationships with partners and potential customers.
• Develop a strong pipeline of new customers and projects through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting.
• Work with Marketing and Sales to implement business development initiatives and attend events, tradeshows, webinars, presentations and conferences.
• Generate business through outbound lead activity and research companies to identify new prospects.
• Qualify inbound leads and prioritize opportunities and mobilize internal resources to accelerate sales cycles.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the company's broad range of service offerings.
• Articulate differentiators and value proposition to prospects and existing customers.
• Nurture prospects through in-person communication and track activity in CRM.
• Establish rapport with stakeholders and represent the company at networking events.
• Prepare proposals and present project documentation to clients for review and negotiation.
