ARCO Construction Company in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Director of Business Development to drive new client acquisitions nationwide from our St. Louis (Rock Hill) office.

You will build strategic relationships, expand ARCO’s market footprint, and shape the sales plan across construction and design-build projects. The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in BD, direct construction sales experience, and proficiency with Salesforce, MS Dynamics, or Pipedrive.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of new business development experience.
• Direct sales experience in construction, light industrial/manufacturing, or commercial sectors preferred.
• Design-build experience preferred.
• Proficiency with business development software (Salesforce, MS Dynamics, Pipedrive).

Responsabilités

• Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities.
• Create and expand ARCO’s footprint and establish top-of-mind awareness.
• Research and analyze key economic factors influencing market activity in niche markets or geographic areas.
• Help develop and manage the execution of the sales plan.
• Attend trade shows and association meetings to stay abreast of market conditions and establish client relationships.
• Coordinate and manage the sales/proposal process with marketing, project management, and operations teams.
• Travel as needed, up to 40%.
