Job summary

The Tess Marriott Autograph Collection, Buckhead Atlanta is seeking a Corporate Group Sales Manager to identify target accounts and nurture relationships to meet revenue and ADR goals. You will conduct outside calls, trade shows, and site visits within your market, building long-lasting relationships with clients, GSOs, and peers.

Collaborate with on-property resources to coordinate sales efforts, respond to opportunities, and transfer accurate information to Events.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 5 years’ experience of sales experience in area or market role with Marriott & Hilton brand experience.
Will be required to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop target accounts and nurture existing client relationships to meet or exceed sales goals for revenue and ADR.
Exceed established monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Maintain an active list of target accounts and establish new relationships to maximize revenue.
Solicit new business opportunities through targeted prospecting and in-market activities.
Coordinate with on-property resources to ensure aligned, non-duplicative sales efforts.
Capture and close opportunities based on market conditions and hotel needs.
Plan and execute familiarization tours and in-market events, maintaining thorough communication with Events.
