Job summary

The Standard is seeking an experienced account manager to serve as the primary contact for key policyholders and producers across assigned groups in the Employee Benefits Sales and Service office. You will build strong relationships through regular on-site visits, proactive negotiation, and timely issue resolution.

You will collaborate with sales and underwriting to craft renewal strategies, analyze claims experience, and present renewals with customized recommendations while promoting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required for applicant.
• 5+ years of group insurance account management experience in 2500+ lives space.
• Life and Disability insurance license for all states within the territory; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain account management strategy for assigned accounts.
• Conduct on-site visits, negotiations, and pre-renewal analyses.
• Coordinate with sales and underwriting to prepare renewals and proposals.
• Facilitate enrollment and benefit fairs.
