Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC is seeking an Account Operations Supervisor for our Ground network. You’ll lead the Account Operations Coordinator team and own upstream demand quality, consolidation decisions, and customer communications.

Responsibilities include governance of intake, audits of bookings, performance reporting, and escalation handling. You’ll mentor coordinators, ensure 1:1 development, and drive continuous improvement across the account portfolio.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or similar field.
• 5–7 years in freight, or 3PL account management, customer operations, or transportation operations.
• 1–3 years leading or supervising a team.
• Strong written communication and ability to raise writing standards.

Responsibilities

• Own intake quality and booking governance for new requests; ensure completeness at first release.
• Arbitrate consolidation decisions and coordinate with Capacity Manager when capacity changes.
• Lead account communication standards; escalate customer issues with clear internal requests.
• Prepare and present operational performance in account reviews; drive corrective actions.
• Coach the team through one-to-ones, feedback tied to real files, and performance management.
• Maintain coverage model with named primary and backup coordinators per account.
