The role involves delivering live presentations, developing account strategies, and exceeding quarterly targets while building strategic partnerships and maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience selling to large government entities is a plus.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of sales processes and customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver face-to-face sales presentations to strategic prospective government clients that demonstrate knowledge of the latest Comcast products and services.
• Hold yourself accountable to achieve/exceed a monthly sales quota and activity targets.
• Stay abreast of market landscape and emerging technologies to best position Comcast Business Services in the marketplace.
• Develop the strategy for a module of accounts consisting of government entities, including identifying strategic partnerships and cultivating local partnerships and organizational affiliations.
• Collaborate with internal resources, especially Sales Engineering and Operations.
• Research and generate new leads with targeted accounts through various prospecting activities, including cold calling, government events, customer referrals and partner relationships.
• Maintain and build customer relationships to drive customer retention.
• Work with internal teams to ensure operational efficiencies and service levels exceed customer expectations through exceptional customer service and follow-up skills.
• Maintain accurate and quality sales records and updating sales and activity reports as required.
• Attend out-of-the-office meetings with customers on a regular basis and demonstrate excellent verbal and written skills and skill in presenting, persuading and negotiating.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Data Network Design, including Managed Network Services, WANs, Network security, Ethernet, Managed WiFi, VoIP, and Internet, and understanding of Government procurement processes.
