Job summary

EdgeByte Solutions is seeking a skilled Business Development & Capture Specialist to identify, qualify, and advance opportunities across federal, state, local government, education, and commercial markets. You will manage capture planning, solution development, and proposal coordination to position EdgeByte for competitive opportunities.

You will translate customer requirements into actionable capture strategies, coordinate with leadership and partners, and maintain a robust BD pipeline.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business development or capture roles.
• Experience with government procurement processes and portals.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into capture strategies and action plans.
• Experience building capture plans, win themes, and competitive analyses.
• Ability to manage a multi-stakeholder pursuit pipeline and forecast data.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new opportunities across federal, state, local gov, education, and commercial markets.
• Research solicitations, RFIs, RFPs, IDIQs, BPAs, task orders, and other channels.
• Develop and maintain capture plans, pursuit strategies, and competitive intelligence.
• Maintain an accurate BD pipeline with milestones, values, and next actions.
• Coordinate with architects, engineering, and partners to develop solutions and proposals.
• Support proposal development including compliance matrices and submission activities.
• Review solicitations for mandatory requirements and bid risks.
• Develop capability statements and customer-facing materials.
• Develop teaming relationships with primes, subs, OEMs, and cloud providers.
• Ensure post-award transition readiness with delivery teams.
