The role requires telecom and B2B sales experience, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. In-office five days a week in Herndon, VA with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Hires with 3–8+ years of B2B telecom sales experience.
• Proven track record of direct hunting and quota attainment.
• Ability to identify, qualify and generate new business.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities within a prescribed regional sales territory.
• Prospect via direct calling, email and outreach to key decision makers.
• Meet with customers onsite as needed to advance sales.
• Use consultative selling to position connectivity solutions.
• Leverage Cogent’s global network footprint to win business.
