Cogent Communications in Herndon, VA is seeking an experienced B2B sales professional to identify and develop new opportunities in the IP Transit, content, and wholesale space. You will prospect, engage with Key Decision Makers, and present connectivity solutions leveraging Cogent’s global network footprint. The role is in-office, five days a week, with structured tenure-based pay increases and commission opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3-8+ years of B2B sales experience in telecom with collocation, wholesale, and data transit.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in direct hunting B2B roles.
• Strong prospecting and research skills to identify opportunities.

Responsabilités

• Identify new business opportunities within a prescribed Regional Sales Territory.
• Qualify and generate opportunities by direct calling, email, and outreach to Key Decision Makers.
• Complement prospecting with onsite customer meetings as needed.
• Use consultative selling to position connectivity solutions for current and future needs.
• Leverage Cogent’s global network footprint to win new business.
