Cogent Communications is seeking an experienced B2B sales professional for its Virginia region. The role focuses on hunting new enterprise accounts, qualifying opportunities, and presenting connectivity solutions across a global network footprint.

You will engage Key Decision Makers through calls, emails, and on-site visits as required. The ideal candidate has 3–8+ years in telecom sales, strong communication skills, and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas.

Qualifications

• 3-8+ years of B2B telecom sales experience with collocation/wholesale
• Proven hunter with quota achievement
• Strong communication and prospecting skills
• Familiarity with CRM systems and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities within a regional sales territory
• Qualify and generate new business via direct outreach to key decision makers
• Conduct onsite customer meetings as needed
• Position Cogent services for connectivity solutions leveraging the global footprint
