Job summary

Jerry.ai is seeking a Strategic Finance Manager to own the driver-based operating model across core and new product lines. You will partner with functional leaders, report to the VP of Finance, and work closely with the CFO and founders to drive planning, forecasting, and strategic decisions.

You will translate financial results into actionable business insights for executives and investors, lead monthly reviews, and build cases for new opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in finance, with investment banking, corporate development, or FP&A background.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or similar quantitative field.
• Strong financial modeling skills including driver-based models and GAAP concepts.
• Experience with unit economics in consumer or marketplace businesses.
• Ability to translate complex analyses into a clear executive narrative.
• Startup or high-growth finance experience preferred, with building processes from scratch.
• Hands-on fluency with AI tools for analysis and automation.
• Insurance/insurtech/fintech or marketplace experience; finance tech stack including NetSuite, Ramp.
• Experience building financial models for new products, verticals, or partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Own the driver-based operating model for the base business and new lines.
• Lead monthly business reviews and translate numbers into decisions.
• Build financial cases for opportunities and negotiate terms.
• Develop financial models for products, channels and partnerships.
• Frame build/buy/partner decisions and maintain forecast alignment.
• Explain results to CFO, founders, board and investors for external diligence.
