Job summary

Jerry.ai is hiring a Strategic Finance Manager reporting to the VP of Finance to own the operating model and the planning cycle. You will partner with functional leaders across the company and work closely with the CFO and founders to inform strategic decisions.

As a finance analytics partner on new opportunities, you will build driver-based models for products, verticals, and partnerships, explain deviations after close, translate results for executives, and lead monthly business reviews to

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in finance roles (investment banking, corporate development, private equity, or FP&A).
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
• Strong financial modeling skills including driver-based models, three-statement mechanics, scenarios and sensitivities.
• Experience with unit economics in consumer/ marketplace businesses (CAC, LTV, payback, retention).
• Startup or high-growth experience building financial processes from scratch is preferred.
• Hands-on fluency with AI tools for analysis, research, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Own the driver-based operating model for the base business and expand it as new products and lines launch.
• Explain movements against plan after close and translate results into clear business insights for executives and investors.
• Lead monthly business reviews with functional leaders to drive decisions.
• Build financial cases for new opportunities and finance the decision framework (build/buy/partner).
• Develop and monitor product/channel economics including CAC, LTV, payback, and contribution margin.
