Job summary

Jerry.ai is seeking a Strategic Finance Manager to own our driver-based operating model, planning cadence, and spend discipline as we scale into new markets and products. You’ll partner with leaders across the company and work closely with the CFO and founders to deliver insights that inform bets on product lines, channels, and partnerships.

The role requires strong financial modeling, GAAP knowledge, and experience in high-growth environments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in finance roles, preferably in high-growth settings.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a similarly quantitative field.
• Strong financial modeling skills: driver-based models, three-statement mechanics, scenario and sensitivity analysis.
• Experience with unit economics in consumer or marketplace businesses (CAC, LTV, payback, cohort retention, contribution margin).
• Startup or high-growth experience strongly preferred, including building financial processes from scratch.
• Hands-on fluency with AI tools for analysis, research, and workflow automation.

Responsibilities

• Own the operating model and forecast cycle: driver-based model for base business and new lines.
• Run annual budget and long-range planning end-to-end with cadence and assumptions.
• Own monthly/quarterly forecast cycle and variance analysis post-close.
• Write executive narratives translating results for CFO, founders, and board.
• Lead monthly business reviews with functional leaders to inform decisions.
• Support evaluation and rollout of planning systems and tools.
• Build financial cases for new opportunities: size markets, model economics, assess capex/ROI.
• Benchmark actuals against estimates to extract lessons for future decisions.
