Job summary

Jerry.ai is hiring a Strategic Finance Manager to own the driver-based operating model and lead the planning cycle. You will partner with functional leaders and work closely with the CFO and founders to translate financial results into strategic decisions.

The role requires 4+ years of relevant experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and a track record in high-growth environments. AI-enabled analysis and equity opportunities are part of the compensation discussion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or similar quantitative field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in finance/FP&A and at least 2+ years in high-growth environments.
• Strong financial modeling skills and three-statement mechanics.
• Experience with unit economics in consumer/marketplace businesses.

Responsibilities

• Own the driver-based operating model for the base business and expand with new products/lines.
• Explain variances vs. plan after monthly close and interpret forecast impact.
• Translate results into clear business insights for CFO, founders, and investors.
• Lead monthly business reviews and drive data-based decisions across functions.
• Develop business cases for new opportunities and partnerships.
• Build financial models for new products, channels, or partnerships, include CAC, LTV, payback and margins.
• Assess build/buy/partner options and shape decision frameworks.
• Support budgeting and provide visibility to budget owners.
