Job summary

Jerry.ai is hiring a Strategic Finance Manager to own the driver-based operating model and planning cycle, partnering with leaders and the CFO to guide decision-making. You will translate financial results into clear business insights and drive monthly reviews, with a focus on CAC, LTV, payback, and margins as the company scales into new product lines.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience, ideally combining 2+ years at investment bank, corporate development, or private equity with 2+ years in strategic finance or FP&A at a high-growth company.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or similarly quantitative field.
• Strong financial modeling skills including driver-based models, three-statement mechanics, scenario/sensitivity analysis, and GAAP concepts.
• Experience with unit economics in consumer/marketplace businesses (CAC, LTV, payback, cohort retention, contribution margin).

Responsibilities

• Own the driver-based operating model for the base business and expand with new products and lines.
• Lead monthly business reviews with functional leaders and translate numbers into decisions.
• Build financial case for new opportunities and negotiate terms with budget owners.
• Develop models for new product/vertical/channel/partnerships and monitor CAC, LTV, payback, and margins.
• Frame build/buy/partner decisions with clear return profiles.
• Communicate outcomes to CFO, founders, and investors; ensure external-diligence-ready reporting.
