Job summary

Troutman Pepper is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the finance team, drive accuracy in reporting, and deliver insightful analytics for senior leadership. You will translate strategy into actionable plans, build robust budgeting and forecasting processes, and develop tools to monitor performance across the firm’s offices and practice groups.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience managing finance teams and delivering performance insights.
• Strong foundation in accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Advanced skills in financial modeling, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the finance team and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Develop dashboards and KPI reporting for firm leadership and practice groups.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and multi-period outlook processes.
• Coach and develop Analysts, Coordinators, and other team members.
• Ensure data integrity and standardization across reporting tools and processes.
