Job summary

Troutman Pepper is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the finance team, drive budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across the firm and its offices. You will build financial models, dashboards, and KPI frameworks to support senior leadership decisions and strategic initiatives.

You will supervise Senior Analysts and Coordinators, ensure data integrity with Accounting and IT, and advance reporting automation to improve accuracy and speed. Strong technical and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years in finance, FP&A, or related analytical roles, preferably in a law firm or professional services.
• Advanced proficiency with financial analysis, internal reporting, and variance analysis.
• Experience with ERP/GL and time & billing systems; strong Excel and BI tool skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day finance team operations; assign, prioritize, and ensure timely deliverables.
• Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and KPI reporting for leadership and offices.
• Lead budgeting, reforecasts, and multi-period outlooks; consolidate data with accuracy.
• Provide coaching and professional development for analysts and staff.
• Produce monthly and quarterly variance analyses with actionable insights.
• Collaborate with Accounting and IT to ensure data quality and reliability.
