Job summary

Cisco is seeking an Account Executive to support the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) in the DC Metro Area, Kansas City, MO, or Fort Collins, CO. You will act as a strategic advisor to agency leadership, driving transformation of the USDA’s network, security, and data infrastructure.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage complex procurements, and build executive relationships across USDA bureaus to win and expand mission-critical opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Federal sales experience.
• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
• Residency in or ability to travel frequently to DC Metro area, Kansas City, or Fort Collins.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year strategic account plan aligned with USDA mission outcomes and budget cycles.
• Drive aggressive revenue growth across Cisco’s portfolio (Enterprise Networking, Security, Collaboration, Observability, Hybrid Cloud).
• Orchestrate cross-functional teams (Pre-sales Engineering, CX, channel partners) to deliver mission-ready solutions.
• Cultivate and maintain deep relationships with key decision-makers and C‑suite leadership across USDA bureaus.
• Manage complex procurement cycles, defending Cisco’s position and maintaining long-term incumbency.
