Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking an Escrow Oversight Specialist in the United States (Topeka, KS area) to manage mortgage escrow processes, research tax and insurance items, and disburse funds on paid‑in‑full loans. You’ll work within regulatory guidelines and use FiServ/Sagent, Encompass, Digital Portal, AutoPilot and OnBase to support escrow operations.

The role requires 2–3 years mortgage or escrow experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College education preferred but not required.
• 2–3 years of banking/finance/mortgage or escrow experience.
• Experience with mortgage loan servicing/loan origination systems.
• Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Teams, Outlook.
• Ability to perform Escrow Liaison Level I and II duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks in line with applicable regulatory requirements.
• Research and process FHA/PMI/USDA cancellation requests.
• Assist with setting up escrow lines on loans.
• Research and resolve property discrepancies for tax, insurance, and flood vendors.
• Provide posting instructions for tax, insurance, and PMI refunds.
• Disburse funds on paid-in-full loans with escrow balance.
• Provide accurate information and follow up on issues.
• Escalate complex escrow issues to senior staff with solutions.
• Provide weekly and month-end productivity summaries.
• Prepare documentation and updates to mortgagor loans in the system.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
