Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking an Escrow Oversight Specialist to manage mortgage escrow processes, including setting escrow lines on new and acquired loans, researching tax and insurance items, and disbursing funds on paid-in-full loans. Responsibilities include adhering to US laws and internal policies, with starting pay between $20.00 and $23.50 per hour.

The role requires 2–3 years of banking/finance experience, plus familiarity with FiServ/Sagent, Encompass, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of banking/finance/mortgage or escrow experience.
• Experience with FiServ/Sagent, Encompass, Digital Portal, AutoPilot, and OnBase.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Teams and Outlook.
• Ability to handle Escrow Liaison Level I and II duties.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with limited supervision.
• Ability to troubleshoot escrow issues and make decisions with impact.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong math skills and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Complete tasks per regulatory requirements.
• Research and process FHA/PMI/USDA cancellation requests.
• Set up escrow lines on loans.
• Resolve property discrepancies for tax, insurance, and flood vendors.
• Provide posting instructions for tax, insurance, and PMI refunds.
• Disburse funds on paid-in-full loans with escrow balance.
• Provide accurate information and follow up on issues.
• Escalate complex issues to senior staff and propose solutions.
• Provide weekly and month-end productivity summaries.
• Prepare documentation in the system for mortgagor loans.
• Perform other duties and special projects.
