Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking an Escrow Oversight Specialist in Olympia, WA. You will manage escrow lines, tax and insurance research, and disbursements on paid loans, while ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.

The role requires 2–3 years of escrow or mortgage experience and familiarity with servicing systems like FiServ/Sagent, Encompass, Digital Portal, AutoPilot, and OnBase. Strong math and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. College education preferred but not required.
• Two to three years of banking/finance/mortgage or escrow experience.
• Experience with mortgage loan servicing and loan origination systems (FiServ/Sagent, Encompass, Digital Portal, AutoPilot, OnBase).
• Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Programs (Excel, Teams, Outlook).
• Ability to handle Escrow Liaison Level I and II duties with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute escrow-related tasks in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Research and process FHA/PMI/USDA cancellation requests.
• Set up escrow lines on newly originated and acquired loans.
• Investigate property discrepancies tied to tax, insurance, and flood vendors.
• Provide posting instructions for tax, insurance, and PMI refunds.
• Disburse funds on paid-in-full loans with escrow balance.
• Escalate complex issues to senior staff with proposed solutions.
• Produce weekly and month-end productivity summaries.
• Maintain complete documentation in mortgage systems.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
