Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking an Escrow Oversight Specialist to manage escrow setup, tax and insurance research, and balance disbursements on loans. This remote role requires 2–3 years in banking/finance or mortgage escrow and familiarity with FiServ/Sagent, Encompass, and MS Office.

You will work to resolve discrepancies and ensure regulatory compliance. Applicants should be detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of independent work with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college education preferred.
• 2-3 years banking/finance/mortgage or escrow experience.
• Experience using mortgage loan servicing/loan origination systems (FiServ/Sagent, Encompass, Digital Portal, AutoPilot, OnBase).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Set up escrow lines on FHA/PMI/USDA loans.
• Research and resolve escrow tax/insurance discrepancies.
• Process cancellation requests and refunds.
• Disburse funds on paid-in-full loans with escrow balances.
• Provide accurate information and follow up on issues.
• Escalate complex escrow issues to senior staff.
• Prepare documentation updates to mortgagor loans.
