Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services, part of The Carrington Companies, seeks an Escrow Oversight Specialist to work remotely from home. You will set up mortgage insurance escrow lines on newly originated and acquired loans, research tax and insurance items, and disburse escrow balances on paid-in-full loans.

The role requires navigating FHA/PMI/USDA processes and adhering to state and federal regulations. Starting pay range is $20.00-$23.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college education encouraged but not required.
• 2–3 years in banking/finance/mortgage or escrow.
• Experience with mortgage loan servicing and origination systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete tasks following regulatory requirements.
• Process FHA/PMI/USDA cancellation requests.
• Assist in setting up escrow lines on FHA/PMI/USDA loans.
• Research and resolve property discrepancies for tax, insurance, and PMI.
• Provide posting instructions for tax, insurance, and PMI refunds.
• Disburse funds on paid-in-full loans with escrow balances.
• Provide accurate information and follow up on outstanding issues.
