Job summary

Fortinet is seeking a Sales Engineer to partner with a Named Account Manager in a defined territory to guide large enterprise cybersecurity transformations spanning SecOps, Zero Trust, cloud, and network security.

You will lead security assessments, design secure architectures, and present to both technical teams and executive decision-makers, while nurturing long-term executive relationships and ensuring ongoing customer value realization.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in pre-sales or systems engineering in enterprise cybersecurity, networking, or cloud.
• Strong networking knowledge and core security protocols.
• Ability to design solutions across SecOps, Zero Trust, cloud, and IAM.
• Excellent presentation and storytelling for technical and executive audiences.
• Proven track record aligning technical solutions with business priorities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales to qualify opportunities, define solution strategy, and align capabilities with business outcomes.
• Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and security assessments in complex enterprise environments.
• Design and present secure architectures spanning networking, cloud, and SecOps.
• Deliver presentations and demos to technical and executive stakeholders (CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, business leaders).
• Support post-sales with deployment transitions and ongoing value realization.
