Job summary

International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive for our Confluent Sales Team. You will drive revenue growth, manage the full sales cycle from discovery to closing, and build strong executive relationships within National Accounts to expand consumption of Confluent data streaming solutions.

You will become a subject matter expert in Confluent offerings, data infrastructure, and cloud technologies, collaborating with Solutions Engineers and Customer

Qualifications

• 5+ years of quota-carrying sales experience in a competitive market.
• Experience in consultative, solution-selling environments within technology (SaaS, cloud, big data, open-source, or enterprise IT solutions).
• Experience selling into GCC clients is a must.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas consistently.
• Strong understanding of data, cloud technologies, open-source, and the business value of data streaming/Kafka (Confluent) solutions.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth by achieving quarterly and annual targets and expanding consumption in enterprise accounts.
• Own and manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing complex deals using structured methodologies.
• Proactively identify and develop a robust sales pipeline with C-level engagement.
• Communicate customer needs and present value propositions tailored to outcomes leveraging Confluent's platform.
• Collaborate with Solutions Engineers, Global Account Managers, and Customer Success teams to design solutions.
• Develop SME knowledge on Confluent offerings, data infrastructure, DataStreaming, AI and Kafka landscape.
• Coordinate with partner ecosystem across AWS, GCP, Azure, GSIs and GCC-focused partners.
• Maintain CRM records, provide regular sales reports, and forecast sales accurately.
