Job summary

International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) Global Sales seeks an Enterprise Account Executive to drive Confluent solutions to National Accounts. You will use prospecting, negotiation, and leadership to meet and exceed quarterly targets while expanding consumption within strategic enterprise clients.

You will collaborate with Solutions Engineers, Global Account Managers, Professional Services, and Customer Success to design effective technical solutions and ensure a seamless customer

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven, quota-carrying sales experience in a competitive market.
• Experience in consultative, solution-selling environments within technology (SaaS, cloud, big data, open-source, or enterprise IT).
• Experience selling into GCC clients is a must.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth by acquiring new customers and expanding consumption within existing enterprise accounts.
• Own and manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and discovery to negotiation and closing complex deals.
• Prospecting & pipeline management with relationships to C-level executives and senior stakeholders.
• Consultative selling to understand customer needs and present compelling value propositions leveraging Confluent's platform.
• Collaborate with Solutions Engineers, Global Account Managers, Professional Services, and Customer Success to design effective solutions and ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Develop market expertise on Confluent offerings, data infrastructure, DataStreaming, AI and Kafka landscape.
• Coordinate with partner ecosystem across AWS, GCP, Azure, GSIs and GCC-focused Partners.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales reports and forecasts.
