Job summary

Regions Bank in Hoover, Alabama is seeking an Enterprise PMO Portfolio Manager to govern the enterprise portfolio of strategic initiatives and investments, partnering with executive leadership to align investments with enterprise strategy, capacity, and expected outcomes.

You will lead portfolio governance, demand management, and performance reporting, delivering dashboards and insights to enable informed decision-making and value realization across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Organizational Leadership, Project Management, or related field and ten years of experience in portfolio management, strategic planning, program management, business transformation or related discipline
• Or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting or related field and eight years of directly related experience at a top tier consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Deloitte, PwC, EY, etc.)
• Or High School Diploma or GED and fourteen years of experience in portfolio management, strategic planning, program management, business transformation or related discipline
• Three years of experience leading teams and/or managing portfolio, program, or project management professionals
• Experience supporting enterprise governance forums and executive-level decision-making
• Experience with portfolio financial management, investment analysis, and budget forecasting
• Experience working in large, matrixed organizations with complex portfolios and competing priorities

Responsibilities

• Leads enterprise portfolio management activities, including demand intake, initiative evaluation, prioritization, governance, resource planning, and portfolio optimization
• Monitors project health and delivery practices, offering strategic direction, challenges, and corrective recommendations
• Partners with business and technology leaders to align initiatives with objectives, priorities, and resources
• Facilitates investment governance processes and makes recommendations on prioritization and funding
• Establishes portfolio governance standards, methodologies, and reporting frameworks
• Develops integrated portfolio roadmaps with milestones, dependencies, and expected outcomes
• Leads demand management and capacity planning to balance resources and priorities
• Assesses portfolio-level risks and cross-functional dependencies
• Supports executive governance reviews with analysis and visibility into health and performance
• Produces executive-level dashboards and analytics for decision making
• Drives change management and adoption planning across initiatives
