Vertex Inc. is seeking a senior sales professional to generate revenue for Vertex tax solutions in a defined territory. You will develop strategies, penetrate target accounts, and build executive relationships to sell an enterprise-wide tax solution.

The role requires a strong track record in outside sales of software, relationship development, and experience engaging mid- to senior-level decision makers. You will collaborate with various teams to craft compelling proposals and drive growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business; 15+ years outside sales in transaction tax software.
• Proven track record in relationship development and business development.
• Experience selling software to mid- or senior-level decision makers.

Responsabilités

• Generate revenue by selling Vertex tax solutions in a defined territory.
• Develop account plans and strategies to penetrate defined accounts.
• Build executive-level relationships and address customer requirements.
• Respond to RFPs and develop joint proposals with Vertex Consulting teams.
• Collaborate across functions to maximize account value and close opportunities.
• Stay informed on tax industry developments and Vertex initiatives.
